At the beginning of March I was asked to provide back ground music for a school reunion, of which the attendees had left Thomas Cowley, Donington, a whole 40 years ago...
The event was held at the local community centre in Donington, a couple of corners away from the school itself.
I was asked to provide a playlist mainly based around 80s music, but with some classic late 70's and early 90's songs from the legendary 80's artists if needed. A lot of artists who released music had bigger hits in the early 90's or late 70's so I based this around whether or not the 80's songs went down well from the specific artist. Being a music nerd I have quite a good knowledge of when songs were released and how popular they were via the official stats.
