Finally the time has come, after taking some well earned time off over Christmas, for our very first gig of 2022. To finish the month and to start the year we were travelling up to Lincoln in order to provide a disco for our clients 50th birthday. When we found out the themed was Great Gatsby we were straight into the 1920's to find the best music in order to bring the theme to life.
The venue was a social club In the heart of Lincolnshire which had a huge car park which enables for plenty of guests at events. We were up on stage facing a dance floor and extremely impressively large seated area. We were asked to play 1920s music as guests arrived and then a wide range of party music until the finish, allowing guests to make requests throughout. The guests were all dressed appropriately, I felt like I was on the set of Peaky Blinders, it was amazing seeing them all come in throughout the night.
Our Set Up:
For this specific event we used our white set up. We also added our brand new mixer to the set up, which we connected everything to in order to get better sound for our music and through our mics.

Our first gig of the year went really well, the venue were very impressed! Our client let us know she had a fantastic time along with plenty of guests. Most of the playlist we played were based on requests... which we had too many we couldn't fit them all in!
