At the beginning of March we were up in Sheffield at the amazing Crowne Plaza Hotel, we thought since we are performing until late we should probably stay over for once, so we really made the most of the weekend! Candy and Thomas have had us booked for what feels like... forever! So finally the day has come!
When we got to our room, the first thing we obviously sorted was room service! I can honestly say this was the nicest burger I have ever had in my life... 10/10 just incase any of you ever stay there.
There was also a HUGE mirror, so obviously I took this opportunity to get some photos in my RNS mask.
The wedding itself was running quite late, but then it also didn’t help that the hotel staff forgot about us.. so we were waiting outside the side doors for about 1 hour in the cold. Looking back now I just have to laugh, we kept telling them where we were and by the time we had been let in they had already started moving the room around. Some venues just need to up their supplier relationships a tad maybe?
Anyway, here is a lovely picture of my rock n roller.... GET ONE!!
It truly is the best thing I have ever purchased, I am so in love. It saves soo much time and I just love wheeling it around, it makes me feel so clever! It also allows me to judge venues disabled access, this was actually ok there was just a raised curb to get it in, which completely makes no sense. There was also no lights around this route when we took it back to the car, but the lights everywhere else were on.
Our light bar was perfect for this venue, the lasers completely lit up the high ceiling and the other lights shone on the dance floor! We had the lights low to be strategic, if we had them any taller it wouldn't have gave off the same light on the ceiling.
All of the guests seemed to have an amazing time and the dance floor was full whenever it was able to be full!
Once the night was over we went straight to bed and following breakfast in the morning, we headed over to Meadowhall!
Of course we stopped off for a Nandos!
And we even found a Harry Potter shop!!! How amazing!!
To finish this little gig blog, we have written up the playlist from the night. Unfortunately we were having too much fun at the end and completely forgot to write about 15 songs up! ooops.
We played a little bit of everything as you can tell, we hope you enjoy reading through them and hopefully you can find some songs on here that you would like to be played at your wedding! Every single song went down an absolute treat, there was not a single song that wasn't enjoyed. There were some pretty amazing guests!
